About Me
Will Haas is a Recording/Mastering Engineer, Mixer and Producer from London, Ontario, Canada. Will has owned and operated Willyboy Recordings, a professional Recording Studio in London, since 1998. Will has accumulated credits for Recording, Mixing and/or Producing for dozens of professionally manufactured releases from Canada. Genres include: Pop/Rock, Roots/Country/Folk, Blues and Jazz. Selected credits include: The Rizdales, Jason Hakin, Howl, Ruth’s Hat and The Bastid Sonz. When it comes to the fidelity of recorded music, Will Haas strives to produce the most vibrant and colorful sounds; a no compromise approach to achieve world-class results has been his fundamental goal. Will’s Recording/Mixing style and the sounds he creates pay tribute to his knowledge, skill and willingness to experiment. Viewing sound quality of recorded music as an art form has been a major influence in his personal style and approach, and paves the way for a strong foundation for a career in our music industry. For Will, Recording Music is a passion rather than just an elaborate hobby or job. Developing and striving for the highest achievements in quality and uniqueness have always been Will’s goals. But meeting these expectations are only accomplishments when the production meets the vision of the music itself. To realize this vision, an immense amount of devotion is required. In a very competitive industry that demands an ever-evolving palate of sound, there has to be the willingness to go the extra distance and not settle until you have achieved your own definitive style. Will Haas’ philosophy is based upon the realization that sometimes less is more, and using technology to suit the music’s individual nature—by finding the tradeoff between pushing the boundaries of sound too much or too little— is an art in itself.STUDIOWillyboy Recordings accommodates a broad range of styles and genres of music and production. From modern, in your face pop and rock sounds, to mic and room sounds of yesteryear, all recorded music benefits from the vibe, feel and unique atmosphere this recording studio offers. Willyboy Recordings offers audiophile sound, an intimate atmosphere and a workspace available to clients who are working with a linear budget. The studio atmosphere is truly an artists’ domain, comprising all of the right tools and amenities required for comfortable, world-class music production.
