Where do I begin?There is not much to tell because I am a loner. I need to say this next statement because some people may think either that I am feeling sorry for myself or want sympathy ~ "Just because I am a loner, does not mean that I am lonely". That is the furthest from the truth; I enjoy life and most people. I think that I am a loner because of my lifestyle; I travel approximately 45-weeks per year and deal with people all day (10-14 hours) at work. I am a quality and environmental regional manager over twelve facilities throughout seven states. I sometimes feel like people run when they see me coming because I am either telling them what is wrong or giving them more work to do. Wow, I might run too. After work, I need time to relax and recuperate. I really do not have time to be a good friend because of my traveling and when I get home, I consider my time so very precious.I have many acquaintances and one true friend (whom I have known since 1990). True friends ~, I sometimes wonder if there really is such a thing anymore. If you are one of those people that have real true friend(s) and it has stood the test of time, you should consider yourself very fortunate because they are rare.Oh, another thing about me is that I am super gullible (I want to believe everyone) and don’t know too much about interacting, having fun, letting go, going with the flow, etc. because I haven’t had too many people in my life except for work related (which is strictly business). If fact, just today I was told that I sound almost harsh, stern, matter of fact, or just plain controlling when I was just talking to a dressing room attendant at Old Navy. Come on now ~ that is harsh! I had no clue what he was talking about and thought I was being nice. My daughter told me that she knew what he was talking about; it was just because I have such a professional type factual tone when I speak. GREAT – that is what education and dealing with laws (it is either right or it is wrong – very little room for gray) has done to me…I am a nerd.LIKES: Pickles, Lemons, Laughter, Patience, Children, Sunsets, Sunrises, People with GOOD SOULS, The Grand Canyon, Smithsonian Museums, Art ~ love it, Camping, Motorcycles (love to take bike trips), Straight Teeth, Blue Eyes and MUSCLES. I also love to DANCE...DON'T LIKE: Lies / Cheaters – life is too short and tough enough without having to decide whether you can accept what you are hearing. I do not like slackers (lazy people), especially in the work force; I consider that stealing. I do not like people that SULK, what is that about (it does not make your situation better, yet typically worse)? In addition, weak or indecisive men make me CRAZY. I do not like being constantly on the run (go, go, go). I do not like fried foods or crotch rockets (they scare me ~ was recently told that I was being MEAN for calling them "CROTCH ROCKETS" - not trying to be mean, that is what everyone calls them). Finally yet importantly, CATS (because I am allergic to them and it makes my eyelids bleed) ~ had to get 9-shots per week for 2-years. Seems to be better now, but I just do not want to risk it or to go through that again.
