Hi, my name is Mairi Ward and I am currently completing a Bachelor of Contemporary Art, majoring in painting at the School of Visual and Performing arts, University of Tasmania. Since discovering painting it has become an obsession. I spend all my time that I’m not eating, sleeping or writing an essay, playing with paint :) I am intrigued by ideas put forward by Heidegger and Merleau-Ponty.
