I do not read enough fiction. I always promise myself I will turn over that new leaf and never succeed. That said, I love Philip Roth and have read most of his books. I like David Sedaris but have only read a few of his books (and even those aren't fiction). That's about all I got...Sadly the only new additions to my library have been books about documentary filmmaking and fundraising (which doesn't make for great cocktail party chatter).
Frank Zappa, Cornel West, Philip Roth, Charles Mingus, Muhammad Ali, Amy Goodman, Ralph Stanley, Chuck D, Johnny Cash, Richard Pryor
