A Cowbell Christmas, with the Judgmentals

Christmas, punk, and a cowbell ... just for you.

About Me

There's something about a cowbell that just says, "Christmas, dammit!" And there's something about a cowbell in a punk rock band playing Christmas songs that says, "Christmas? Dammit!" And so it is, with the inevitability like that of the ebb and flow of the tides, the coming of old age, and yet another comeback by Mariah Carey, that the Judgmentals just HAD to do a Christmas EP. We know what you're thinking ... we know that you're all dreading this ... we know that better judgment really should have prevailed. But you know that scene at the end of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" when Robert Redford and Paul Newman are loading their pistols and binding up their wounds in preparation for a last mad dash to freedom, not knowing that the entire frigging Bolivian Army is just outside, locked and loaded and good to go, ready to turn the boys into a really bizarre flavor of Smucker's Jelly with a single volley, and you're saying "No! No! No! DON'T DO IT! You IDIOTS!!" but well ... they do it anyway? This Christmas EP is kind of our version of that. But different. Without the guns, for instance, and with guitars, lots of guitars. And ... a cowbell.
