CLICK ON THE WIDOWRV BiographyDJ & Producer - RV has been in and around the drum and bass scence since the late nineties.His first influences were drawn from Hip Hop (N.W.A, Public Enemy, Tribe Called Quest....) and tapes from early raves such as Amnesia House and Dreamsape (Brian G from Dreamscape 2 especially). From this came his love for drum and bass, and he was a regular customer at events such Warning, One Nation and Telepathy.In 1998 he got his first set of decks, and there was no looking back. By 1999/2000 he was regularly playing out while at University in Manchester and Birmingham (where he first met production partner Wickaman). After Uni came regular bookings at Breakin Science, Speed of Sound and Breakup..In 2003 RV moved to Northampton, and hooked up with the Accelerated Culture/Sidewinder Crew, and also started producing with old friend Wickaman. Its a move that has brought a lot of success.You can now find RV playing regularly on nights such as Random Concept and Subrockers, as well as guest shows on various radio stations. He has a number of releases on both Black Widow and Infrared Records, with much more to come in the near future.........
