MUSIC PRODUCER SYLO IS FINALLY EMBARKING ON A SOLO PROJECT(more info to come soon) AFTER A STRING OF COLLABORATIONS WITH DJ PROBE,WIKKAMAN,IC3,FUTUREBOUND AND MATRIX,AND MOST RECENTLY MALDINI AND VEGAS.PAST RELEASES ON LABELS INCLUDE: TOV,INFRARED,TIMELESS,WORLD WIDE AUDIO,VIPER-METRO AND BAD TASTE RECORDINGS,Waaaaay back in the 90's i was just a regular joe into going out and partying hard(on school nights too!)after a couple of years of visiting rave venues around southeast england my oldest buddy introduced me to a guy he was at school with named jamie who not long later took up the name j majik. fast forward a couple of years to 97 and i was invited to go down to the blue note in hoxton square to an event named metalheadz. wow...just... wow . my interest in jungle music was already waning but this event reinvigorated my interest in the sound that is known as drum and bass. Anyway, as an addict of the sounds being produced i was given the oppurtunity to sit in j majiks studio while he and an extremely talented keyboard player called danny jay crafted out some classic drum and bass anthems such as spaced invaders, the lizard(the list goes on and on)so with this insight i bought a keyboard and sampler and learnt the ropes of production.Thru another chance meeting at the old site for mucic house i bumped heads with dj probe(cool fm stalwart 10 years runnin now innit P) and a production partnership formed which led to a string of releases on some formidable labels with releases such as ghetto dub,gimme some more, battle royale etc..blah blah blah zzzzz look em up there out there! these tracks garnered support from some of the biggest names in d'n'b such as hype,dillinja, shy fx ,bryan gee (once again!)..etc ...etc. i have always been interested in working with other people that enjoyed music production such as wikkaman/futurebound and matrix/maldini and vegas and more recently some of the nu skool of artists such as the brookes bros . What does the future look like for you then sylo u ask? Well after years of collaborations i'm looking to forge some solo tracks to destroy some dancefloors and move some souls/soles (geddit?).
