Never Mind The Bollocks

I am here for Friends

About Me

I was released on Friday the 28th of October 1977 with advance orders of more than 125,000 which instantly qualified me for a Gold Disc. Initial copies of me came as an 11 track album with a free one-sided single of submission. I was recorded at Wessex and AIR studios over a period between March and August '77 with two producers, Chris Thomas and Bill Price. Glen Matlock after being sacked was asked to be a session player and he did not show up,Anarchy was a single with Glen so I kept the original recording, on all my other songs the bass was done by Steve Jones playing the same chords as he would on the guitar, but just the octive lower. I was published by Virgin Records LTD. From start to finish I clock in at 38 minutes and 47 seconds.
