I recently signed a production contract with an independent record start up label ’Upper 11 Records’ The President of the label is based in New York, Mark Schimmel former Senior Vice President of Marketing for Arista Records (a division of BMG and home to artists such as Whitney Houston, TLC, Avril Lavicgne, Bone Crusher & Didio).
The Label President of Publishing is Ric Aliberte, Ric has owned and operated an independent New York-based management firm for over two decades, representing artists, producers and industry executives. He has also worked in such positions as Vice President of A&R for RCA Records and was National Promotions Executive for Elektra/Asylum Records.
Since signing I’ve been travelling back and forth from the states working closely in the studio with multi grammy award winning mix engineer and producer Ken Lewis (www.protoolsmixing.com) who’s worked with the likes of Kanye West, Mary J Blige, Just Blaze, The Game, just to name just a few.
I’ve done some work with Jimmy Bralower who’s had a wealth of experience in the industry working with the likes of Kurtis Blow, Madonna, Britney Spears, Cher, again just to name a few.
I’ve also worked with Peter Zizzo who has produced tracks for numerous amounts of artists from J-Lo, Avril Lavigne to Celine DionI’m on here to showcase just some of my work and network with other people in the music industry. I would like to meet singers, songwriters especially!!!!, session players; bass, acoustic etc. also music managers, a&r reps......
