DJ STROLLER
Stroller is a Dj / producer from South London, who began predominately playing UK/US House & Speed Garage in the late 1990’s. Heavily influenced by djs such as EZ, Matt Jam Lamont, Fonti, Oxide, Todd 'the god' Edwards, Wookie, Dominic Spreadlove, Norris Da Boss Windross, and Ray Harley, Stroller immediately purchased himself a pair of Numark TT 100’s and began mixing all day long (literally).
Since then Stroller has been djing regularly across the UK and Ghana, hosting and entertaining at clubs and concerts from US artists such as Jagged Edge, Joe, Kanye West, Marques Houston, Jahiem, Ginuwine, and 112. UK artists including Fundamental 03, Snakey Man, Lethal B, Fire Camp, Eddie Kadi, KeishaWhite, Nathan, Kay B, Street Politiks, and Ghana Artists, Kofi Nti, Wutah, Castro, Little Q, Kwabena Kwabena, Praye, KK Fosu, Akatakyie. Over the years Stroller has also rocked crowds at exclusive westend bars such as No5 Cavendish Square, Jewel Piccadilly, Kabarets Prophecy, Punk, Envy and clubs including Scala, Ministry of Sound, Hammersmith Palais (the list goes on!)
Stroller was also selected for THE EVENING STANDARD annual event LONDON BAR WEEK 2007 (3-7 June 2007) sponsored by, Totally London, MatchBox, Galaxy Radio, United Business Radio, Contenda, Pure Spirit of Brasil, One Week to Live, Buffalo Trace, Konami, Xbox and Roberto Cavalli Vodka, which saw him playing at some of the capital's sexiest, coolest and hippest locations in Soho and Portobelo.
However, despite coming from a House & Garage background, Stroller is now a major supporter and promoter of all music genres, from House, Broken Beats, Afro Beat, Indie, Pop, RnB, Hip Hop, Rap, Bashment, Reggae, Soca, Grime, Dubstep, Baltimore, Miami Bass, Jungle to African.
Stroller: At present I am working closely with my partners Quakes and Clifford in establishing our company The Union Lifestyle Group , which incorporates everything business, fashion, music and entertainment related.
Adjacent to that, I am also working closely with Phazed Out (he's a beast on the protools!!), an up and coming talent from South East London, Peckham, at Upper 11 Records (Universal Records), of which the President is Mark Schimmel former Senior Vice President of Marketing for Arista Records (a division of BMG and home to artists such as Whitney Houston, TLC, Avril Lavicgne, Bone Crusher & Didio)
Stroller was interviewed on Ghana's finest station Atlantis Radio 97.9 fm on Giles Bossmans drivetime show back in Christmas 2007, which then followed a special mix from yours truely. Even a seperate interview was broadcasted on national Ghana Television alongside Quakes, which can soon be viewed on SKY TV Channel OBE TV.
