"Studio", WINNER FOR BEST FEATURE FILM AT 2007 ATLANTA HIP HOP FILM FESTIVAL, is the latest movie from Corey Grant and New Breed Films, who brought you the hit movie "Hip Hop Task Force" in early 2006. "Studio" Three FBI agents are sent to Los Angeles to investigate the murder of Hip Hop star Elliott Jones. While investigating the murder, they unconcover a web of corruption, deciet and greed as one by one, they are drawn deeper into imminent danger and we see what happens when Lyrics become deadly. The question remains, who killed Elliott Jones? Coming 2007TRAILERWhere "Hip Hop Task Force" was the first film to explore the infamous Hip Hop police units that exist in New York, LA, and Miami, "Studio is the first film to take a fictional look into a real life situation. What happens when lyrics turn deadly. Today gangster images are the focal point of most rappers today. The harder you are, the more you sell. With that fact, inevitably you have those rappers who are from the street or hardcore, who adapt that image just to sell some records. Then those that don't try to go that route, are influenced or forced to by record companies. Studio: When one creates a fake gangster image in a recording studio, that expresses all that he is not. Studio, short for studio gangster.Studio is a important movie for the Hip Hop community. Some rappers need to take heed. You know who you are. There is nothing wrong with hardcore Hip Hop. I'm a fan, but not when it is contrived and fake. Today more then ever, Hip Hop needs a balance. "Studio" will premire in early 2007 in Los Angeles before touring major cities in the US, then eventually being released nationwide to video stores. We urge all to attend screenings in your cities. All dates will be posted here when they are set.
