A lot can be learned about a person when you look at where they come from. And in the case of Barrs you wouldn't expect nothing less than a survivor. Being natively born in Jamaica, NY, then transplanted into the economically darkest areas of Baltimore, the only games played by him as a child included vials, weights and other paraphernalia. Needless to say, the typical childhood wasn't an experience he had the opportunity to enjoy, but there were some silver linings for him. His music seemed to be the escape from his reality. He would frequent various spots around Baltimore, lyrically battling, and making a name for himself. He eventually hooked up with some local producers but rap wasn't enough to pay the bills, so he started hustlin again. He's been thru the total gambit of experiences in his life, the good and the bad. And though hustlin was the way of life, he soon allowed music to become the other once more. His abilities re-caught the attention of the local producers, and he was again writing his history down for the world to hear. Eventually he teamed up with others to seriously devise a plan for making the world his stage. What does that mean for the rest of us.
