DANCING
dance is the hidden language of the soul, of the body;
LOVE
there is only one true happiness in life, to love and be loved;
ART
Love art; of all lies, it is the least untrue;
MUSIC
the greatest good that mortals know, and all of heaven we have below;
FAMILY/FRIENDS
the language of friendship is not words, but meanings. It is an intelligence above language. Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and just be my friend.
COMMUNICATION
I distrust the incommunicable; it is the source of all violence.
UNIQUENESS/CONFIDENCE
conform and be dull. No one ever yet became great by imitation. I cannot and will not cut my conscience to fit this year's fashion.
PATIENCE & UNDERSTANDING
Nature has given men one tongue and two ears that we may hear twice as much as we speak.
COURAGE
although courage is almost a contradiction in terms: a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die.
UNDERSTANDING OF TRUE BEAUTY
the perception of beauty is a moral test.
FORGIVENESS
He who cannot forgive a trespass of malice to his enemy, has never yet tasted the most sublime enjoyment of love.
ACCEPTANCE & EQUALITY
No house should ever be on a hill or on anything. It should be of the hill. Belonging to it. Hill and house should live together, each the happier for the other.
HOPE & AMBITION
Always set your goals and expectations high. There will be times when you think you can't push harder; you can. There will come times when you want to walk away; Don't. Never lose sight of what you really want to accomplish.
HAPPINESS
Happiness is the only sanction of life; where happiness fails, existence remains a mad and lamentable experiment.
The pic above was my tent in the meadow of Yoga Oasis in Puna, Hawaii (Big Island) that I lived in for a while in 2005...

you? ... well...actually...more
People that are filled with love, hope, passion, positivity, faith (not necessarily religious, of course), peace, and truth. I want to meet people who are optimistic about life, and who have deep minds. People who love and appreciate nature, and aren't very concerned with materialistic things. People who are easy going and like to have a good time, but don't rely on getting trashed to do so. People who live their lives to the fullest and love with their greatest capacity. People who have established their own identity and know whats necessary instead of conforming to the most expensive, new and popular materialistic crap. Think about it; why do we buy things we don't need with money we don't have to impress people we don't like?! Also:
people from my past. people from my future. people from my dreams. those who offer and those who accept. artists, musicians, performers, moody, brooding, brilliant minds. good cooks. comedians. people that challenge and those who see eye-to-eye. kindred spirits. positive influences. excellent seamstresses or seamsters. balanced individuals. people that don't mind helping me stretch and share an appreciation for music, art, dance, yoga and adventure. minstrels. mothers. midwives. those who keep their judgements, and share their thoughts. skilled tradesmen/women. botanical experts. storytellers. healers. inventors. historians. scholars. passionate professionals. farmers. healers. teachers. people who dance to the beat in their heart and their head. people who haven't seen the aurora (borealis) so i can tell them they need to. those who understand the question before they give an answer. elders. youth. lovers. whores.
etc...
It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive...
what's important to YOU?
Natasja check out this Blue Scholars video... I saw them perform in Seattle on Halloween 2007, and I really want to share this song too, so just press play... please... it's good and worth it... ask me if you're interested in more I'm interested in, 'cause there's WAY too much really good music I love, to list...
WAKING LIFE...
of course the Pick of Destiny. Obviously. But I guess I'll start with classics that I've loved since I was little: Goonies, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Newsies, the Labyrinth, The Wizard of Oz, Joe vs. the Volcanoe, Hook, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Alice in Wonderland, and to more recent: Chocolat, Fight Club, Momento, Chicago, Lord of the Rings, Anchorman, Office Space, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Notebook, Rent, Crop Circles, Waking Life...ok, my brain already hurts from trying to think of good movies. You get the jist.
ect...
No
cuz
It's bad for you....
Like winds and sunsets, wild things were taken for granted until progress began to do away with them. Now we face the question whether a still higher "standard of living" is worth its costs in things natural, wild, and free. For us of the minority, the opportunity to see eagles is more important than television.
Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers. But don't believe everything you read! ask me personally if you want to know more on that subject.
Those who stay positive, who love and give throughout their lives, who care for themselves, others and the environment, who do what they can to make this world a better place while they are here. Those who follow the golden rule of positive reciprocity...
=)
This is a video my brother posted on youtube (among many... check them out... http://www.youtube.com/user/mushroomjesus)
and this is what he wrote about this video:
"Exodus 16 and Eziekiel 4:15 explain that Manna or Bread in the Old testament was a small round thing after the morning dew that turned to mush when the sun waxed hot and was prepared over cow dung. Jesus said he IS the Bread of Life. Every Sunday they mock the mushroom passing around grape juice and wafers or regular bread... The second coming is the knowledge of the entheogen mushroom from the Cow Field that has been forgotten. Oh yes, the psilocybin mushroom, the answer to "What Would Jesus Do?" But I disagree with John Allegro and James Arthur... I'm no scholar, but I had voices in my head like the other prophets so... enjoy :)"
this is my brother's (myspace.com/mushroomjesus) video... and it has clips of Si, my sister, and I... check it out:
