About Me

This profile was edited with mywickedspace.com Editor
..Next stop: Madison, New Jersey - a quaint little town, 30 minutes from New York City and home to Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham, which I will be attending this Fall '09.
I believe in not taking things for granted, in realizing that each day you wake is a blessing, and full of endless possibilities. I believe that anything is possible, and you can truly accomplish whatever you want if you believe without a doubt that it's possible. I would much rather have a job that is emotionally rewarding then financially rewarding...though I plan to have one that's both. I love finding other people that are passionate about life, that enjoy the simple aspects of it as well as all others, and who look for both a breadth of experience and the depth of each experience.. I love an adventure and I can’t stand routine... I dabble a little in many different pasttimes- for instance, I occasionally write, paint, draw, etc (and even sing). I love reading, photography, film, and writing. I’m not afraid to run in the middle of the street and yell at the top of my lungs, but I usually make sure there aren’t any cars coming first. I love learning (and am soon off to Fairleigh Dickinson in New Jersey), and I love traveling too. I love a lot of things! I have a great passion for simply living, and I put everything I am into all I do. (When I finally get it done that is, because Im a HUGE procrastinator) I enjoy company, but not just any. I greatly value loyalty, and those who abide by their word. I love the 1920's-40's and I feel a strong connection to that time period- perhaps because it seems like things in general had better quality and more substance - and a certain style that I am very attracted to. I like the style of everything in that decade, from fashion and advertising to cars and architecture. I love fantasy ... novels, films, etc. I like warm weather and cold, it just depends on where I am experiencing one of the other (e.g. Washington cold, ick- but I feel like I would love cold in England!). I love thunder storms. I believe in quality over quantity, brain over brawn. I am a firm believer in a little going a long way. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and nothing is coincedence.. I am amazed by the entwinement of our paths of life- how the tiniest of things affects our futures and how the smallest decisions bring about great changes.. I love learning new things and being excited, and I like being busy- but not stressfully so. I love music too- a little of many different things. I love big band/swing, jazz, classical and a lot of bands/singers whose category I am unaware of. And I like obscure sayings... cool as a cucumber, two shakes of a lambs tail!

myself. that sounds a little narcissistic, but i say so because it would be neat (and perhaps insightful) to meet myself from a different perspective.. id also like to meet J.K. Rowling, because her imagination amazes me. And because I love Harry Potter. and if it was possible, j.r.r. tolkien. and brian sibley, because we seem to share the same tastes in fantasy literature and in walt disney! who i would also liked to have met. and then there's tim burton, of course.

oh, and, uhm, clark gable.

books poison a womans mind.

I had a thought today, that perhaps there is some truth to that notion of the past regarding the exposure of a woman’s mind to literature... although as you may guess, my basis for thi...

i wonder, who first discovered the efficacy of poetry in driving away love!

I am going to take this opportunity in writing, though mainly of course these blogs act only as a personal journal, which is perfectly useful in my opinion, to say how much I have just begun...
