The Guardian
"The UK's finest jazz festival"
Which? Magazine, March 2006
"One of the major occasions in the British jazz calendar"
Daily Telegraph
"Cheltenham Jazz Festival has long marked itself out as the brightest and earliest of the summer’s jazz gatherings… an eclectic mix of new and established artists"
The Times
Hello! Cheltenham Jazz Festival is one of the premier summer shindigs in Europe and the likes of Herbie Hancock, Ornette Coleman, Chick Corea, Jamie Cullum, Jools Holland, Lee Konitz, Gilles Peterson, Mr Scruff, Cassandra Wilson, Norman Jay, Ty, Dianne Reeves and The Herbaliser have graced our stages over the past 11 years.
We've also had a number of "firsts" such as showcasing the likes of Jamie Cullum, Polar Bear and Soweto Kinch before they were famous and becoming the first UK Jazz Festival to work in association with BBC Radio 2. You can visit our websites to find out more - www.cheltenhamfestivals.com or www.jerwoodrisingstars.org.uk - and if you've been along to the Festival, let us know how it was for you! x
