About Me

Hmm, I'm sure I should write something equal parts witty and deeply meaningful here but at the moment can't think of either so...
I'm a bass player from Wales UK, and musically I lead three lives -
Solo bassist - the main focus of this site
Member of Panic Room - the new project by former members of acclaimed Welsh band Karnataka
Jazz musician - Over the last few years I have been lucky enough to play alongside some iof the top UK jazz musicians as well as backing visiting artists. A list of the people I've worked with can be found here .
Many of these opportunites have come through pianist Dave Cottle and the incredible Swansea Jazzland club (www.swanseajazzland.co.uk)
For occasional newletters and exclusive material, please sign up for the mailing list at www.alunvaughan.com/contact.shtml
or here:
I've also got a couple of pages for other "solo projects" I'm working on that didn't really fit stylistically with the music here...
Prog silliness
Industrial noise
