BIOGRAPHY: Juz Kiddin’ aka Dead Seriuz
Seriuz started out writin’ lyrics back in ’97. The next few years, he began developing his skill until he was ready to participate in battles. However, it was a battle organized by the infamous Killa Tactics (Belgium’s finest DJ crew and part of the Riot Squad) that got him on. A couple of weeks later they asked Kiddin’ to join the Riot Squad line up for a live show in their hometown, Louvain.
That’s where it all started. After that, he joined the Killa Tactics to numerous parties. It was there that Kiddin’ started grabbing the mic and rocking the crowd. All of this seems to have been a good learning school for Seriuz.
In 2002, Kiddin’ met Rickey Beatz aka Midi Evil through a mutual friend. Because a lack of producers at that time they began producing tracks together, this cooperation led to the beginning of BloomBury Productions. And things are getting bigger and bigger… First, BloomBury established themselves in their hometown Louvain as well respected production team. Their hype is spreading like fire all over the Belgian hip-hop scene. They are working together with the likes of A.M.O.K, Morsdood, Ares, Sanctum, Carlos, Riot Squad, Phillibustas, DJ Damented, etc…
Alongside the producing, his rapping skill can’t be denied neither. At the moment, Kiddin’, Mordekaï en Joe Lazarus are preparing their first official effort as Riot Squad. On of the most anticipated albums in Belgian hip-hop history. But expect a mix tape to be released by the end of ’07.
However, that is only one thing Kiddin’ is workin’ on. Together with singer Pascale Dereeper he formed a group called No Regretz. No Regretz can be described as the perfect combination of hip-hop and soul. So expect a dosage of hip-hop straight from the heart on the No Regretz album that will be in stores near you around march 2008.
