The Wrist of The North Star

About Me

I first heard hiphop through ice t, the beastie boys, public enemy, house of pain, ice cube and yes also the Jazzy Jef and Fresh Prince. But around 94 things got out of hand when i heard doggystyle and the chronic. I started buying alot of east coast stuff after that Wu Tang obviously, biggy, gangstarr, mobb deep. so much more i could go on forever. Alot of cool stuff came out on vinyl so i started buying records instead of cd's I started making tons of mixtapes and selling them in school. Gathering turntables and mixers me and Dj Cause (my neighbour) learned how to scratch and mix records by trial and error (we had no internet). Back then and still reppin it to the fullest naturally :p we are the H-Town Connection. When we decided to do our first party we met fellow djs crew Killatactics and met most of what became The Riot Squad at Radio Scorpio a station in Louvain. We did a few parties but i didn't like spinning parties that much back then, i was a scratchnerd no doubt about it! I started battling in 1999 during that year's ITF. I did more ITFs after that als DMC battles, the Coup de Belgique and Hit The Decks battles in Louvain. I stopped battling 2001 but i'm practicing again and plan to record alot of stuff in the near future. This is a small slideshow of battles i did, more to come soonI hope! :p Big thank you to dj dysfunkshunal for having best archives ever !!!I did the intro for the Secret City mixtape volume 2 for MC Revalation and Catalyst of the Mic Murderers. I'm planning to make more for them in the near future. Check them out! More to come...
