WIR - LUCHA AMADA aus Koeln/Bonn/Berlin - sind ein Kollektiv, das seit ca. 5 Jahren Musik aus dem spanisch-,italienisch-, baskisch-,catalan-, portugiesisch-, franzoesischsprachigem Raum auflegt. Wir legen jedoch nicht gewoehnlichen Salsa oder aehnliches auf, sondern konzentrieren uns auf die Szene internationaler Bands, die traditionelle Stile mit neueren Richtungen mixt. Bands, die salsa, cumbia oder rumba mit ska, reggae, hip hop, punkrock oder ragga mischen und die alle ein linker politischer Ansatz eint. Manche nennen die Musik "mestizo", wir spielen auf unseren Parties "rumbapunkyreggae-salsamuffinlatinska". Bekannteste Vertreter dieser Szene sind mit Sicherheit Mano Negra, Manu Chao, Cheb Balowski, Panteon Rococo, Negu Gorriak, Sergent Garcia, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Amparanoia, Los De Abajo, Fermin Muguruza, Macaco, Color Humano, Zebda, Ozomatli, Todos Tus Muertos und Joxe Ripiau es gibt jedoch unzaehlige (noch) unbekannte Bands, die wir auch hier in Deutschland bekannt machen wollen. Neben den Parties, die wir organisieren - z.B. regelmaessig im Gebaeude 9 in Koeln und dem Kato in Berlin, veranstalten wir Konzerte in Koeln und Berlin. Auch wollen wir - am liebsten in Verbindung zu den jeweiligen Konzerten oder Fiestas - soziale und politische Kaempfe (z.B. den Aufstand in Argentinien, oder der Zapatisten in Mexico und natuerlich auch zu Antinaziarbeit hier) durch Filmvorfuehrungen, Info-Veranstaltungen und Solipartys bekannt machen und unterstuetzen.
WE - LUCHA AMADA from Berlin/Bonn(germany) - are a dj- and concert-collective which loves music from latin america, spain, france, the basque country and italy. Not that typical salsa or son is the style we love but a fusion of nearly all styles. A mixture of traditional and "newer" styles. Latin-ska, Reggae, Cumbia, Salsa, Dub, Hip Hop, Punk, Raggamuffin, Drum n Bass, Rumba, Rock or Mambo mixed to wild musical cocktails which force you to dance and enjoy. Music without borders from bands whose community mostly is antiracism, solidarity and a left-wing attitude. Some call this type of music "mestizo", others "Latin-Fusion", we call da style "rumbapunkyreggae-salsamuffinlatinska". Most well-known representatives from this international scene are probably Clash, Kortatu, Manu Chao, Mano Negra (who started it all), Sergent Garcia, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Los De Abajo, Fermin Muguruza, Sagarroi, Macaco, Amparanoia, Color Humano, Panteon Rococo, Karamelo Santo, Zebda, Ozomatli or Todos Tus Muertos, but there are thousands of (here) unknown bands who we like to make - more or less - famous in germany. Apart from the regulary parties we organize - for example in the "Gebaeude 9" in Cologne - we put up concerts in cologne and Berlin. Sometimes we organize public meetings or show some films in solidarity to social and political struggles in other countries, e.g. to the zapatistas, dearest in connection to a following concert. We also try to develop this place into a huge platform for this type of music, not forgetting interesting news, announcements or links regarding progressively politics. El objetivo de esta pagina es difundir informacion sobre el gran ambito musical del “Mestizoâ€, “Latin Fusion†o otros estilos que ni podemos ni queremos etiquetar con un cierto “labelâ€.Esto incluye la informacion actual sobre bandas interesantes (sus conciertos, resenjas de discos, entrevistas), nuestros conciertos y fiestas, pero tambien queremos dar espacio a otro tipo de noticias. Las que no tienen lugar en la prensa oficial y que por lo tanto necesita una voz para ser publicada y difundida. Hablamos de temas sociales en general, o de relaciones de poder como el racismo, el capitalismo o el sexismo.Hablamos de las mierdas de cada dia que nos encabronan y que hacen la vida imposible a mucha mucha gente de los llamados “paises en desarrolloâ€. Pero tambien hablamos de las luchas que nos muestran lo que un@ puede hacer contra la explotacion y la opresion. Pensamos, por ejemplo, en la lucha en Argentina, la de l@s zapatistas en Mexico, la lucha contra el gobierno de derechas en Italia , la protesta comun contra la “Fortaleza Europea†y las crecientes protestas contra el capitalismo (muchas veces falsamente tachado como “globalizacionâ€) que no solo se mostraron en Seattle, Goeteburg, Genova..., sino en innumerables ideas, proyectos y acciones que presentan el mismo espiritu de resistencia.Todas estas formas de resistencia nos muestran que podemos realizar y cambiar algo si entendemos nuestra lucha local no en su sentido literal y si nos intercambiamos y organizamos superando las fronteras.Por lo tanto, queremos ofrecer un gran espacio para temas politicos, anunciamos eventos locales y mundiales. Al fin y al cabo hay muchas formas de expresar la manera de pensar y criticar lo que no nos gusta. La “guerilla musical†representa una muy importante porque lleva un mensaje que llega. Llega y nos motiva, asi que bailamos luchando y luchando bailamos
