Pietro lodice He was born in Naples on January 22, 1962. In 1988, he moved to Rome and soon became one of the most outstanding drummers on the ltalian Jazz scene. Performances in many outstanding theatres and jazz-clubs all over Italy, U.S.A., Germany, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Israel as YVP Record Festival (Germany), Umbria Jazz, Pescara Jazz, Jazz and Image at Villa Celimontana (Rome). "Calvi Jazz Festival" (Corsica), Opera House in Tel Aviv with Buddy De Franco(Israele),Buenos Aires Italian Jazz fest, Barcellona jazz fest, Linz at the Bruckner House(Austria), Tel Aviv Jaz fest with P. Woods, Novisad jazz fest(Serbia), Jazz Time Rjieka (Croatia)…and many others. He has taken part to several instalments of the radio programme "Radio Jazz" 1 Radio RAI) with M. Urbani. F Boltro. S. They just released their first CD called —Signor Jones", produced by Via Veneto Jazz (2000). In the U.S.A. Yal Records has published a CD called "Homage to Yusef teef & Corvini lodice R.J.E(2002): recorded live at the Prato Jazz festival. held at Teatro Metastasio on 4 february 2002 with Yusef Lateef(sax,flute and voice) and Matt Vaugh on computer and sample. Last CD as RJE called “Fast Race” is released june 2005 by “Brave Art” distributed by Sony/BMG.It came out in 2005 a minus one for big band called “suonare la batteria nella big band” 1°Volume produced by Walter Martino “Edizioni Bemolle”.
