Playing bass, that's what i do. I studied at the HKA Conservatory in Arnhem, the Netherlands, from 2001 to 2005 and got my Bachelor of Music in Education. Currently, since 2005, i study bass guitar at the Rockacademy in Tilburg, the Netherlands. So good, so far.
I'm in a couple of bands and projects:
First of all, there's my band Solitus . It's a punk band in the tradition of the skatepunk-bands of the nineties. You could compare it to NOFX and bands like that.
Secondly, i play bass with Sabine . She's a singer/songwriter from The Netherlands and she writes the most beautiful songs. Just beautiful, i can't say anything else about it.
I also play with Gitta . She's a singer/songwriter and we play songs. Just little songs with a singer/guitarist, a fretless bassist and a drummer/percussionist, little songs with a jazzy touch, little songs about everything in life, little songs i like.
And then there is the Seán Walsh Band . It's a bluesrock band from Tilburg (NL) built around singer/songwriter Seán Walsh. It's really cool and groovy. We play a lot, so check us out live!
There are also songs here from Blue Loui and The Mekanik . These are bands in which i used to play. I like the songs, so that's why i put them up here.
Next to all these things i'm always busy with making, writing, recording and performing music. There's more on my "to do"-list than the above, but these bands are easiest to describe here.
I'm involved in all the songs you can listen to here. I play bass, i sing and i whistle on them. Hell, i even wrote one myself!
