About Me

Being a young old man is no everlasting Sunday. Ask Tommy Ebben and he'll eagerly agree.

Feeling time pass by like rushing clouds on monday; tuesday he'll be whistling summer ditties in the park. Melancholy and lightheartedness are infinite duelers.

About the age of 11 he started getting high. On his dad's record collection that is. From then an ineradicable love for old music took root in his young mind. Classic rock, pre-war blues and prehistoric folk. But inevetably, he's a child of the eighties, a lover of the nineties and a slave to the present.

What keeps him focussed in the midst of all these inner rivalries? After a sigh and a smile he answers: "the love for a beautiful song".

Together with bandmate and producer Maarten Rischen Tommy recorded 12 of his tracks which will appear on his forthcoming debut album. He performes on his own, accompanying himself on guitar or paino, or with his band.
