Sabine

Sabine is a 24 year old singer/songwriter from the Netherlands. Words, atmosphere and arrangement are the main features of her acoustic songs. At the age of 18 Sabine was admitted at the Rock Academy in Tilburg to study songwriting. During her study she contributed a song to the "Pleased to meet you" cd, published by the Rockacademy, and made it to the final round of the singer/songwriter competition "De Wraak van Brabant 2004". She graduated in 2006 by writing, arranging and producing her first album "Misleading Time", which was enthusiastically received by Dutch music magazines OOR ("touching") and Fret ("like she's standing close to you, whispering in your ear"). Currently Sabine is working on her new album "The window in my mind", due to be released in february 2009. By playing with her band as well as solo she creates a surprisingly dynamic, both energetic and enigmatic sound.
