About Me

Ahoy and welcome to my little MySpace page!

Me - that is Katrin from Kassel in the middle of Germany.

My main hobby is hosting the fan club website of the English band SAILOR. Songs: Girls Girls Girls, A Glass Of Champagne, The Secretary, La Cumbia, One Drink Too Many... My website includes a lot of details about the band, their songs, the famous Nickelodeon, concert dates, photos, reviews, fans and much much more. So if you're interested in finding out more about this unique band and all their past and present members, related projects and so on have a look at my website:

www.sailor-music.com

I've met so many marvellous people through SAILOR and am fortunate enough to say that this hobby has already given me some special friends for life... Special greetings to all of them (I assume you know who you are) and to my brother Karsten "Cap K" for sharing the fun.

At all these concerts we've also seen a lot of other bands - too many to be mentioned now - but it would make an interesting and long list of a lot of well-known bands and singers from the 1960s, 70s and 80s.

At the moment, apart from SAILOR, I went to see The Sweet a couple of times because SAILOR's ex-singer, the marvellous Peter Lincoln, has recently become their new singer. (Always liked their music anyway.)

Generally I love music and I also love musicals - so have a look at my alter ego MySpace page about an incredible musical: www.myspace.com/FastFood_TheMusical .

Anything else? Well, this hobby doesn't leave too much time sometimes in addition to a normal job. I work as a secretary at an environmental consultancy. Sounds quite boring, but actually it's not. The colleagues are nice and most of the time we are quite a madhouse! ;-)
I have moved out of my parents' house recently and found a lovely little flat in Kassel. About time, most people might think. But it's still kind of scary sometimes... and expensive!

I also like travelling, but as I usually lack people to travel with (apart from SAILOR-related trips - here we go again!) my journey always seem to take me to England in the end. Which is no bad place to be at all. So watch out over there, I'll be back!

Oh, and an old Nickelodeon from SAILOR was standing in my garden (which isn't really "my" garden, as I am told) for about two years. Now it moved to my brother's garage. Don't ask me how this happened. But if you do want to know, check out the Video ...

Here are some of my favourite SAILOR-related photos of me, my brother "Cap K" and the SAILOR "Boys" (present & past):
Be patient... ;-)

And here are some of our best and most favourite SAILOR concert photos - all © by Katrin & Karsten Wagner:
Move the mouse over the photos to see when and where they were taken...

You won't know this SAILOR song, but it's a very special one for me. The one and only performance of SAILOR with their unreleased song "The Harbour Bar Bell" live at the famous concert in Tring (UK) on 21 March 2004!! The song was only played once -!- and (unfortunately) never released.
The band line-up at this time was: Peter Lincoln, Phil Pickett, Rob Alderton (lead vocals on this song) and Grant Serpell.
