Work Hard, Party Hard

About Me

Hi,

I'm Elisabeth and my life contains of music, white wine or bubbly, my work and my lovely and funny friends!
Huge Sweet-fan, and luckily for me Andy Scott is still gigging with three "new" talented musicians. Been seeing around 50 gigs since I rediscovered them in 2001, the last marvellous Sweet gigs for me has been Bologna, Trelleborg, Viking Line/Cinderella, Järvsö and last but not least the *great* gig in Bilston UK on August 9th.
Oh, and not forgetting all these other great bands and musicians that Andy Scott and the guys have introduced me to - like Statetrooper, Paddy goes to Holyhead, Loudshirts and Tony O'Hora. They also have a very special place in my heart.
I'm also lucky enough to be able to say that I love my job, not everyone can say that - but of course there is nothing like meeting up with friends and having a "few" glasses of white at a gig!
For some reason I seem to be doing most of my gigging abroad nowadays, but back home I've recently enjoyed Hanoi Rocks and Kiss! And it looks like we'll get a Slade gig on the Viking Line Cinderella in September. Join us if you can, it will be a good gig and loads of fun!
Keep on supporting live music everyone!
Thanks to Tobbe, Sten and Eileen for some of the gig related photos.
PS For a change to all the white wine every now and then - my Cosmopolitans are just the best!
Lady Starlight - Andy Scott:
I don't think about my friends in any specific order in real life, and I don't want to do it here either. I value all of my friends here on MySpace, so don't pay too much attention on my "Top friends".

My Interests

Music:

The Beloved "Time after time"

Traditional rock in many ways: ***Sweet***, Slade, T-Rex, Queen, Thin Lizzy, Alice Cooper and many many more.

Other faves are Hanoi Rocks, Steve Augeri/Tall Stories and Jim Lea solo (Ex Slade).

But I do love all sorts of music: The Beloved, Sniff'n' the tears, Suede-Brett Anderson and Alicia Keys.60's band still gigging today are growing on me as well, like The Tremeloes.

… and I don't mind entering the dance floor to "I will survive" either!

Swedish music has always meant a lot to me as well: First of all Thåström, but punkbands in general you can say.

Finally, always around in one way or the other - the three amigos: Lou Reed, David Bowie and Iggy Pop.

PS Don't miss out on Jim Lea's album "Therapy". It's *brilliant*! It's been a long time since an album blow me away like that!

Lady Starlight goes Andy Warhol!

The Chief and friends 2002

June 13th 2008, Järvsö Sweden.

Television:

To relax and to laugh: "Keeping up Appearances" with Hyacinth Bucket. Sorry..."Bouquet"! :) I *love* that show so much, trying to get all the episodes on DVD, still missing out on a few I think though.

Heroes:

One of the best songs from David Bowie. "I, I will be king and you, you will be queen -though nothing will drive them away - We can be Heroes, just for one day"

Fragments of my first visit to New York November 2007:

(The shady alley-way is the way to a "secret bar", and we're not having tea - they serve all their drinks in teacups!)
