Sweet's demise in the late '70's,Brian Connolly's battle with the bottle, and the lads' penchant for snorting, forncinating and fighting, has been well documented. Sweet out did all comers. As Andy Scott himself was only too happy to admit recently: 'We were hell-raising macho alcoholics!' -But thats all in the past now. What remains is the music, those brain-annihilating beats and endlessly memorable melodies.
