I am 51 years old and run a theatre company dedicated to supporting kidney Research UK through theatre and performing arts. Dream Maker Productions was formed to stage a musical written by me and in connection with georg Kajanus called "Sailor The Musical Journey" this event took place in July 2006 and more information can be found on www.dreammakerproductionsfife.com. i am also indebted to Katrin and Karsten Wagner for their help in the promotion of this show and admire their dedication to the band SAILOR who still perform. The website of Katrins fan base www.sailor-music.com is one of the best fanzine websites out there.In the main i am indebted to Georg Kajanus who had the insite to see that as well as me that Sailor - The Musical Journey was a fitting avenue to portray his work in a new and exciting way and to bring to life firstly my ambition, and also his vision that he had in the days before Sailor was formed when he wrote the songs for his Red Light Review. It is always amazing when two different paths cross to collaberate in something that is now truly a wonderfull musical. It is hopefully an early indication of something that will grow, and to this end the wheels are turning to that effect.Gratefull thanks should also go to Barbie Wilde, Steve Morris and his partner Mary, Linda Evans, Malcolm and Eileen Knowles, for their paitent support in the early days when it was announced that this musical was going ahead.Lastly to the cast and crew of Sailor - The Musical Journey for their hard work and committment to the project over an eighteen month period.
