"Jomarl"(UK),"Casinogroove"(UK) and "Mapulon"(UK).Born into the hard knock streets of the then Apartheid riddled Durban,Sydenham,South Africa he is currently based here in Europe after spending half of his life on both Continent's.Proudly blended from Mauritian,Zulu,French and Dutch blood he remain's too this day a true Ambassador not only his Birthplace,Durban,South Africa but the whole continent that is his,"Mamma Africa" and also to the U.K City where he spent many years of his short life recording and performing during his stay in the City that is,Norwich,he remains an ambassador too the "Fine City".Marlon to date has been "entertaining" for 24 years after being discovered at a very young age by his music teacher in Primary school.As a young lad in the 80's he was the only Brother to be a member of the prestigiously world renowned "Drakensburg Boys Choir" based in the high up in The Zululand Mountains and deep in "The Kingdom of Kwa-Zulu Natal" the place of his birth though it never used to go down like that in 80's South Africa but pure luck as well as musical ability got him into the prestigious Music School high in the Mountains!!!Marlon's family have been entertaining in South Africa and Worldwide since the 50's!!His younger Sister Kerry-Lee Cherry duets with Verd on a song called "Baby" that she help take too No 1 in the South African charts and also in turn to be showered with many an award for the track and album.Check their video for "Baby" on this my space page."Ganesh" have completed a few successful Mtv tours of Italia including a few major tours in between with named International Artist's,check the site www.ganenshmusik.com for details."Ganesh" have released 2 albums so far on Scenario Records "Sopra la Soglia" and "Club 21" both available on iTunes and internationally on the net.Both albums are in the Nu-Jazz/Broken-Beat/Bossanova/Chill/Electronica vein.March 008 saw the International release of their "HOTLY" anticipated Third album "Life is Beautiful" which stray's slightly away from the script of its two predecessors,genre wise and is alot more mainstream sounding i.e Neo-Soul/Pop/Hip Hop/Dance/Electronica and Funk,though still remaining what the other two sibling's were and still are i.e "Super Smooth".The album "Life is Beautiful" is dedicated to the life and times of their fallen soldier,musical partner and above all brother "Peppe Papallardo"(R.I.P).Marlon chose to have "I've been Thinking about You-The Dj Thor Remix" a cover originally done by "London Beat" though in the "Ganesh" style as his profile song as its the current single out in Europe and The World,Enjoy!Above all enjoy "Life is Beautiful" which is out right now at all good record stores Worldwide!!......
