Director of the International Jazz workhop of Orsara musica(Italy): www.orsaramusica.it

with diplomas in Jazz at Bolognas conservatoire "G.B Martini" and at Adrias conservatoire Buzzolla, he begun the study of harmony and improvisation with Barry Harris, then fundamental were the meetings with Jim Hall and Peter Bernstein. Both as a compositor and as a musician hes active and appreciated by critic, he owns an elegant and refined style, never commonplace. He won the jazz "Iceberg 98" contest in Bologna, in 2000 recorded the CD Florian (splash records), and has been collaborating with Antonio Ciacca trio, Gianni Amato, Marco tamburini and since 1997 with part of the "Bruno Tommaso orchestra" (two CD: Steamboat Bill Jr, Amare Terre). hes busy also with international ensambles such as with Wessel Anderson Quartet, Benny Golson, Joris teepe, Anders Christensen. He played in some of the greatest theaters of italy and took part in several festivals: Umbria jazz, Barga Jazz, Terni Jazz, Jazle, Orsara Jazz, Lucca Summer festival, Ravello festival... The collaboration with Rogerio Tavares, Ivete Souza, Zeduardo Martins, a short period spent in Brazil and the meeting with Toninho Horta have enlinghtened his love for brazilian music. Since 2004 hes directing the guitar class at the "International jazz music workshop" of Orsara Musica..
