I've lived in Hawaii for 12 years as well and miss the weather! It's kinda crazy going from Hawaii to the Fridged North. Both were great experiences though! I love the fact that I was able to surf the beaches of Hawaii to snowboarding the slopes of Alaska! haha great stuff! Now you can only go around Hawaii so many times before you go nuts I don't care how great the weather is! So I high tailed it back to Alaska and stayed for 4 years trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. .. I was always told that you had to go to college, get yourself a good job and work up the corporate ladder to get that magical 40 40 40 plan! Work 40 hours per week for someone else's dreams for 40 years, and then receive a 40% reduction in pay! Oh Joy what Dream! haha! NOT. So I went to college for a few years starting out as a Computer Science major, then Radiology Tech, and then figured out I loved music and gave the Drum major thing a try. As you probably already know, you don't need a Drum Major degree to be great! The true me began to seep out and my desire to do something great took its course. When I was going to college I came across some Brian Tracy material on the internet and started listening to his tapes and CDs. Brain Tracy gave me the ideas that shifted my way of thinking into a whole different direction. It was the point of no return! Personal Development is now addiction of mine! It's funny how my desire to learn sky rocketed after I dropped out of college! Now I continue to develop myself daily to become the best I can be, so I can teach others how they can achieve what they truly desire in life. Then I figured I'd try to put this knowledge to use in the corporate world and got a JOB (Just Over Broke) at FedEx working as a material handler. I also started my own Travel Business from home. Now I was excited since I had all the benefits of JOB and the mind set of an entrepreneur! Well I didn't really take the business seriously the first 4 months and basically slacked off and decided to get another JOB as a busier in a fancy restaurant! Haha! Working 10-12 hours a day throwing heavy boxes and lifting heavy trays can do a number on you. Now when I started generating $1,000-$3,200 sales from my travel business, I began seeing the power of leveraging my time and money! I know a lot of you out there that are reading this are probably in the same situation where you are working to hard for your money! Working hard never made anyone wealthy. I'm on here to meet people with the desire to achieve their dreams. I mean what's the point if you don't love what you do for a living? This is not a rehearsal for another life! People really need to wake up these days, because they are making life way to difficult. So if you reading this and you aren't absolutely loving life then... WAKE UP! Snap out of it and get on track! You have to ask yourself would I have gotten into this situation I'm in, if I knew what I know now? If your answer is NO, then you need to ask yourself how fast am I going to get out of this situation and on track with my goals? It took me awhile to figure that out! That's why I love personal development! It helps you get to where you want to go faster! All successful people men and.. women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose. Anyway I could go on all day about that. I'm a pretty laid back guy that is focused on what I want and is will to do whatever it takes to get it.
