About Me

Hello. I'm Alex Reeves. I've played drums with a bunch of people, most of whom have been very nice to me--some of them are my friends on MySpace. These people include Ezio (great band), The Young Punx (lots of chart success with those guys), Chris Taylor (the great bass player for The Bays), John Mayall (sat in with the Bluesbreakers whilst supporting on tour) and my best friend Tim Sandiford, whom I love and respect very much.
Here is me:Please look at my website www.alexreeves.co.uk. It's designed for musicians that want live drums to be added to their studio songs. It works using the file transfer method----songs and large files can be uploaded to my server from which I will download them then play and record live drum and percussion tracks to them, then transfer them back to the songwriter via the website. It's all dead easy and really quick, and will save a load of money and time when compared to traditional methods of drum recording. PLUS, you get to have live drums on your songs instead of a sampled beat that doesn't quite fit or programmed stuff that doesn't really swing.
The site also has a bunch of tuition stuff--drummers get a free video lesson each month that can be downloaded onto an iPod. I write a tuition column for DRUMMER magazine which this coincides with. Below is a bit of my third Fills In Time video lessons.
