About Me

Hi, my name is Fini. I am a singer living and working in London. ’Kypris’ is my own song, set to fragments of Sappho. This is taken from a collection of songs entitled ’C’est Fini’, which I recorded in December, alongside ’If I Had You’, ’Two Kites’, ’It Never Entered My Mind’ and ’FLAMENCO Sketches’ (which I know is not the same as FLAMINGO but these things make me chuckle and, to which I set lyrics based on Miles’ solo..)... Boys on this recording include the pianist Barry Green, guitarist Matt Calvert, bassist Tom Farmer and drummer Andy Chapman. The live recording of ’Skylark’ is taken from my final recital in July 2007 (feat Rick Simpson on piano and Mike Chillingworth).
