Hello!
I am a 23 year old, singer/songwriter/pianist for South London. I was born in Croydon in 1984 and studied music at The Junior Royal Academy of Music, The Purcell School of Music and, more recently, The Guildhall School Of Music. I now live in Coulsdon, Surrey.
On the pop scene, I have been lucky enough to work with a whole host of people, including; Charlotte Church, Beverley Knight, Marti Pellow, Chantz, Shola Ama, and Joceleyn Brown. In a jazz context, I've also worked with; Kyle Eastwood, Gerard Prescencer, Natalie Willams, Dave O'Higgins, Pat Crumly, Steve Waterman, Alec Dankworth and Sebastien de Krom.
My quartet was first formed in late 2004, and since then I've played at such venues as: Ronnie Scotts, Cafe de Paris, Pizza Express Jazz Club (Dean Street), The Pigalle Club, The Orange Club, The 100 Club, The 606 Club, and LIVE! Pizza On the Park. You can hear some of my first demos (produced by Ian Shaw) here at Myspace or at my site - work on my first album, which is arranged for septet, has begun and should be recorded by the end of 2008 - fingers crossed!
