DUKE, is a young entertainer from the UK. Duke began his journey in the 'business' at the tender age of 11, starring as lead role, Simba, in west end music, The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre. At the time Duke was still in school; he trained at the Italia Conti Academy Of Theatre Arts, which has an impressive alumni including, Naomi Campbell, Lena Zavarroni, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly Brook, Noel Coward, to name a few!
Duke, in the past, has performed in many opera productions, in shows like the famous Carmen, by Georges Bizet.
In 2001, Duke sang at the Royal Albert Hall for the festival of rememberance, he describes the experience as "breathtaking". The performance was aired to millions of people on national television and radio. He hopes to go back to classical music and opera at some stage in his life.
Duke along with other artists and musicians often provide entertainment for corporate companies and events (The Gucci Group, Shoreditch House, Trident, etc...)
Since he began singing he has been lucky enough to perform and entertain in some of the best venues in town including, The Pigalle Club, Royal Albert Hall, No.5 Cavendish Square, Electric Birdcage, Shoreditch House, Troy Bar, Lyceum Theatre and many more...
Currently, Duke is working on his EP, titled "Dukebox" with London producers and musicians. Set to be released in 2008, you can expect an array of 80's Funk, Motown Soul mixed with a wild and wacky blend of soulful pop music..
He is also in a new Motown Vocal Group recording an album with Safe Management
