About Me

I play guitar, bass and upright bass and a bit of banjo, mandolin, dobro and C6 lap steel. I gig, compose, record, teach, do a bit of journalism and the last 10 years has seen me play all over the world as well as at the Jazz Cafe, 100 Club, Pizza on the Park and Ronnie Scott's for example. I've written music for Channel 4, ITV (you might have heard some rock guitar cropping up regularly on Jerry Springer last year, or seen recent documentaries by Alain de Botton). PS3 fans will hear plenty of my guitar playing if they get Sega Rally in and if you went to Glastonbury this year you may have seen me with The Urban Myth Club, check out their page if you are into downtemp grooves: urbanmythclub.com ..... No blues guitar gigs on at present, but Ska-ing it up from time to time with the Brothers Ignatius. I was making the occasional West End appearance in Cabaret at the beginning of the year, playing banjo and lap steel, and playing with Booga's Electric Sauce, on bass, continues to be, great fun.
