About Me

My names Dave and I play electric bass. I also studied jazz and classical piano and like to sing a bit :-) I studied at Boxhill TAFE before moving to the Victorian College of the Arts and completed a Degree in Jazz/Improvisation.
I like all kinds of music and I work with a number of bands and artists around Melbourne. Last year i worked with Bob Downe and Denise Drysdale on the Ding Dong Downe tour...
I also work at the BassCentre in Park St South Melbourne on Saturdays. It’s Melbourne’s only ’bass only’ store!
And the tunes: Howling at the Moon was recorded a couple of years ago at a Rob Longstaff Trio gig at the Terminus Hotel in Richmond. Palladium was recorded at my VCA recital at the Paris Cat. And Who’s the Fairest is from Rob Longstaff’s studio album ’They Can’t Help You With The Ladies’ - I played bass, piano and nord/organ on that one...
