About Me

(Layout provided by Atomic Studios .)

Click on our website www.CountryNY.com for a chance to win a Tracy Lawrence guitar. CountryNY is not a band. It's a community with a heavy emphasis on: Traditional Country .. Bluegrass .. Americana .. Roots .. Soul.. Southern Rock .. Rockabilly .. Country Rock .. Folk Rock .. Punk Country.. Native American.. Acoustic.. Folk & Blues. Musical lines are being blurred. Many of these are just labels that musicians have been forced to use to describe the music they perform. Ultimately there are only two types of Music - good and bad - we'll do our best to try and stay away from the bad. We envision giving Indie and unsigned artists an equal opportunity to shine. If you make good music and you've got something to say, CountryNY is here to listen and to get the word out. Established Artists and Classic singers and writers will of course also be part of the mix. CountryNY.com is based out of New York, thought by some not to be a major hot bed of Country Music, but we are out to prove them wrong. We will be covering the Country & Roots Music scene throughout New York State and the region, the Nation and the World. Stay tuned for more details. Thanks for stopping by.
