Hello my friends....
My name is Matt, but everyone calls me by my last name Cerino. I was the kid you never talked to at school. Whenever you saw me I was daydreaming, sleeping, or silently writing in a notebook. But now that I just graduated from NRHS (08’) and CVCC (08’) I figured out what my passion in life is, my passion is music.
Somehow, music has always been with me throughout my life. That notebook that you always saw me writing in was my song book. Just under a year and a half I already have written over 180 songs and the number goes up every day sometimes. Yes, that is a crazy shit load of songs but I just can’t stop writing. Plus I write all of my songs on my 12 string acoustic which makes every song unique.
I understand that life is never easy, and usually a test of strength. Sometimes I just have to stop, remember to breathe, and realize tomorrow is a brand new day. I just grab my guitar, close my eyes, and play for hours. I go into another world, the music is alive within me and I get the feeling that life is just perfect at that very moment in time and I can conquer all of my fears and goals.
Some things that you should know about me are; I’m 19 years old (oct. 31st), my friends mean a lot to me, even though I’m pretty shy at first meeting people, I do like meeting new people, I love Starbucks, I can cook very good food, I want to travel, I believe in a lot of things, I have a huge heart, I’m creative, I’m laid back but also have a wild side, I do love to party, I try to make the best out of everything, I love fishing, I like inspiring people, I care about people, I tell the truth, I don’t lie, I drive fast, I love driving with the music up to the highest volume and singing loudly to my favorite songs, and I love music, I love music, I love music! Pretty much I like a lot of stuff ahaha.
Within the next few weeks I will be going to start recording a demo EP, also getting all of my stuff and myself ready to play gigs around town. Try to check back here for regular updates from me.
