FLOODING in Midwest & My House

Category: BloggingThe night of my birthday june 4th , a huge rippin roarin storm came through and flooded our house downstairs. The storm outdid our efforts to try and suck up the water coming in w/ 3 floor shampoo vacs, but to no avail we were taken over and I thought of Katrina victims and all the people before us that have flooded in their homes, how they must have felt..so empty, in shock and tired, beaten down emotionally and phys.I am still in shock because we have to tear out all the carpet, put a huge sub-pump in and basically make it a non liveable space which is a lot of sq feet!!We are dumbfounded and we do not live in a flood zone. However, the ditch across the street was clogged up w/ debris and the water jumped the road in a huge massive rush and hit our yard.I invesitgated it myself because I was perplexed by the waterfall that I saw that night coming through our backyard fence!!! Our front yard was a small reservouir and the back was a flowing creek w/ the waterfall on one end!!!!.UNBELIEVABLE is all I can say about all that water...it is still seaping into our house!!!I digress...=(May this whole thing end up a good thing somehow...?And after all this, I still have "Desireable Desire"...HA!!!Ciao for now my friends and readers,Ancilee__free layouts created by Cleanupmyspace.com------------------------------------------

Personally,I have a very rare & uncureable genetic kidney stone disease (Cystinuria)that can cause great havoc & insidious PAIN in my life and in my little body, but I still try to do my best in life, even if I am disabled from an illness.
Also,I couldn't have my own children personally , but I love them all the same.
They are what life is all about... MAKING AND KEEPING LOVE GROWING! DON'T HAVE CHILDREN OF YOUR OWN? THEN HELP SOMEONE THAT DOES. IT IS THAT SIMPLE.

So, I have decided to share these good willed programs that help animals in our world here on earth.
