Besides Daniel is the alias of Danny Brewer, a singer/songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. Over the past six years, this young artist has explored several different sounds and styles.
Since his debut release, Silent Side Projects (2001), Danny has maintained a weighty and spacious sound, and has recently adopted a more folk influenced song structure.
Danny reinvented his sound in his third and most recent effort, I am the Fall, You are the Spring (2007). The songs on this release remain extremely raw, incorporating a humble blend of acoustic instruments.
Besides Daniel's live performances incorporate many unique sounds including accordion, glockenspiel, banjo, piano, melodica, and many vocal harmonies, provided by a few of Danny's close friends.
