Elvis Costello once said, “Talking about music is like Dancing about Architecture.†I'm not really sure what this has to do with me, but I sometimes feel this way when people ask me about music, or the music I write. It's hard to explain what 'type' of music I play and write. I mean mostly I write out of being inspired, sad, happy, frustrated, amused, etc. And just as some people run, or paint, or do yoga to relax/release stress, I play music. I feel that it’s my one creative outlet. And that it is a place where I am free to be myself and express what is going on around me. I don't think I'm ever going to be famous or that I will write/perform for a living, but music will always be something I love and something that is apart of me.
So, these tracks above have all been written with in the past year and encompass some of the emotions, thoughts, and feelings that have consumed me.
A good friend of mine, Ryan Horne (check him out on myspace) who has been a very big influence in my life as far as my 'music career' goes, let me invade his basement for an afternoon and helped recorded these songs above which make up: “Another Fightâ€
