The Constitution in efect is NOW dead,whatever rights you now enjoy are at the whim of King George. If the latest laws signed are enforced (and they are for an incresing number of people) you will find yourself completly under the thumb of this tirant. A prime example of sutch a law (one of many) is the elimination of the great writ of habeas corpus and this is just the begining!. Habeas corpus Of all the rights and freedoms mentioned and enumerated in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, the writ of habeas corpus is arguably the most important safeguard of individual freedom. Without the “Great Writ,” none of the other rights and liberties has much value. To illustrate why this is so, let us assume that we live in a society in which everyone has the right of freedom of speech, including the right to criticize government programs. One day, someone criticizes some government policy. That day, a federal SWAT team conducts a no-knock raid and arrests the critic. The next day, several people protest the arrest, arguing that the prisoner has the right to criticize the government under principles of free speech. That afternoon, federal agents arrest and incarcerate some of the critics.
What could be done to get the prisoners released from incarceration? The answer is: Nothing, unless the society recognizes the writ of habeas corpus.

With habeas corpus, the prisoner files a petition with the judicial branch of government, asking a judge to order his custodian to appear before the judge to justify his incarceration of the prisoner. If the custodian refuses to comply, the judge issues an arrest warrant for him, which is enforced at the federal level by deputy marshals. Or let's assume that the custodian shows up and says, “Your honor, the reason we're holding him in custody is that he criticized the government.” In that case, the judge can order his immediate release, holding that criticizing the government is not a crime. Or if the judge incorrectly upholds the detention, the prisoner can file an immediate appeal to the appellate courts, which ordinarily give priority to habeas corpus proceedings. Without habeas corpus, there is no way for a person who is being wrongfully detained to challenge his detention, even if the detention has gone on for years. In the absence of habeas corpus, he must continue to languish in prison until the authorities, out of the kindness of their hearts, decide to release him. That's in fact the way things work in communist China and communist Cuba, where everyone is guaranteed freedom of speech but has no way to secure his release from prison after exercising it.

These are realy wonderfull words,and they should be. The oath that a leader takes is of utmost importance for a great many reasons wich I might go deeper into later. Needless to say George Bush did take THIS oath and swore to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States" ....So let's examine (in his own words) how reliabe President Bush is when it comes to oaths, by looking at what he thinks of this constitution, which is the foundation of all of the legal freedoms we think we still enjoy in this country.
Republican Congressional leaders filed into the Oval Office to meet with President George W. Bush and talk about renewing the controversial USA Patriot Act. Several provisions of the act, passed in the shell shocked period immediately following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, caused enough anger that liberal groups like the American Civil Liberties Union had joined forces with prominent conservatives like Phyllis Schlafly and Bob Barr to oppose renewal.GOP leaders told Bush that his hardcore push to renew the more onerous provisions of the act could further alienate conservatives still mad at the President from his botched attempt to nominate White House Counsel Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court.“I don’t give a goddamn,” Bush retorted. “I’m the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way.”...“Mr. President,” one aide in the meeting said. “There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution.” Did Mr,Bush at this point remember his oath and atleast think about what it says? Did he reason through the situation, and think about what he should do in light of his promise to the people of this country to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States"? the answer apears to be NO! So What DID he say?

.. So who or even what is behind these attacks on our freedoms? Or to put it another way, how deep does this rabbit hole go, and where does it lead? I'm not sure we can even fathom how deep this hole goes, but one thing I'm sure of is, that these attacks on the constitution, and our natural God given freedoms, are just the tip of the iceberg,the lust for oil, power and, the greed are only portions of the overall long term plans that are being made on this world stage. These power grabs I think are a means to a deeper and, much more sinister end. I think allot of us know who many of the players and organizations behind this evil plot are, and they don't like it. So who is the puppet master here? Who are these people?
