About Me

Feel free to paste the Video Code below into your MySpace Profile or anywhere else.
The purpose of the blind project is to raise awareness of the child trafficking and sex slave industry in Southeast Asia. We have partnerships with several aftercare facilities including the House of Miracles orphanage in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Many of the children in Southeast Asia have battled through child prostitution, sexual abuse and slavery. Orphanages and aftercare facilities provide these children with education and skills as they grow into self-sustaining adults. Our hope is to redeem the testimonies of these children and share them with the world. The funds raised will help support such aftercare facilities and create greater waves of change.
So why did we call this 'the blind project'?
For the afflicted: Young children in Southeast Asia who have been victimized by trafficking have a warped view of reality. The repeated abuse quickly erodes their psyche and blinds them of all hope and a future.
For the world: One of our goals is to raise awareness and open the eyes of the world, especially today's young adults and the MySpace generation.
For ourselves: On a more personal note, we also called it 'the blind project' because we honestly do not know what we have in store. We do not know if we are going to succeed or fail. But we do know that we will surely fail if we do nothing at all.
