MUSICALLY:
Loren grew up in a musical home, his father played Pedal Steel and Hawaiian guitar, and exposed a young Loren to the beginning of what would be become his passion
--MUSIC--
He (Loren) began his acquaintance with guitar at 3 years old, However it wasn’t until a fateful encounter at age 13 with Detroit’s own Motorcity madman Ted Nugent which he consider to be my first "real" guitar lesson at Ann Arbor, Michigan’s famed Al Nalli music (true story)
Living in Ann Arbor gave him the privilege of being exposed to many musically styles. "Down the block from where I lived a steel drum band, across the Street two house next to each other, one a Jazz guitar player that introduced me to George Benson, Larry Ritenour and Santana. The other house was a band house for a Rock group that would let me hang out and watch rehearsals. Not to mention that the neighbor hood was very diverse and multi cultural. All these things opened my heart and mind and spirit to see music is bigger then we know, I believe it transcends the musician because it is born from eternity. " Studing with various instructors and teachers and song writers, Loren states that;
"After reviewing and thinking about the things that affected me about the music I loved, I realized that the guitar players that influence me did "Their Magic" in the context of a song. Now I am using the skills I have learn along the way. Appling those skills in the various aspects of music I am involved in. Whether as a Guitar player; Recording Engineer; Producer; Instructor; Song writer, My quest is to create great songs communicating LIFE!!!!"
