About Me

Little Victories Animal Rescue Group, Inc., is a group of people dedicated to the humane treatment of all animals. Our goal is to build a No Kill shelter for sick, abused or abandoned animals. We hope to guarantee them safety and shelter until they are healed in body and in spirit so that they can be adopted into safe and loving forever homes.
To do this, we have several goals. Our major goal is the Give Me Shelter Campaign to raise money to build our No Kill shelter. We have finally raised enough money to buy our land!! We are now looking for that perfect place so that we can have a farm where animals can run and play; where both companion and farm animals can be rescued; and where those animals who are unadoptable for some reason can live out their lives in an environment which is safe and loving.
Our second goal is education. We are just beginning to write programs which can be taken into the schools so that young people grow up learning to respect and care for their own animals. We also hope children learn compassion for all living creatures so that the endless cycle of abuse and abandonment can be broken. Spending time on the Little Victories farm would be a great way for children to learn about humane care. Humane and loving children grow into loving, responsible adults. We hope that when we are ready --and our building are built and our shelter open!--that parents will bring their children often to see the animals and to learn to love all creatures.
This same educational goal applies to adults. Through public outreach, printed material and public service messages, we hope to change the culture which sees animals as "property" and continues to use them and "throw them away" when they are no longer useful, or pretty or young. Like people, animals grow old or sick or become disabled, and they should be afforded care and comfort, and not neglect, abuse or even death.
Finally, we hope to establish an aggressive spay/neuter campaign which will control the irresponsible birth of millions of unwanted animals. Ultimately, this is the final answer to the problem of unwanted animals in this country.
Little Victories Animal RescueGroup, Inc. is a young organization. We are growing and learning all the time. We would like for all of you to become part of this organization and grow with us. Our goals are simple, but there are many paths to reach them and we will be exploring them all. Some will be successful. Some may fail. But ultimately we will succeed because we are committed to saving the lives of animals in our area and the surrounding area.
Won't you join Little Victories in saving our precious friends? Please spend time on our web site www.littlevictories.org to learn more about us. We know that only through volunteers who are interested not only in their own animals, but in the welfare of all animals, can we succeed.

BE RESPONSIBLE, PLEASE SPAY/NEUTER, IT WILL SAVE SO MANY LIVES!!!!

Hundreds of thousands of dogs suffer in puppy mills in this country. The dogs are prisoners of greed. They are locked in small cages. They freeze in the winter and swelter in the summer. The dogs never get out of their prisons. They are bred over and over again until they die. The only way to free them from the misery of these horrid puppymills is to eliminate the demand for puppies by refusing to buy a puppy in a pet store and boycotting those pet stores that sell puppies. When people stop buying puppies in pet stores, the puppy mills will go out of business and the misery will end. The state and federal governments do not enforce the laws to protect the dogs. The commercial breeders and brokers have huge well-funded lobbying efforts. Please join this fight to free the prisoners of greed. The only person who is going to make a difference for the dogs suffering in puppy mills is you. You, the people, can free them from their puppy mill prisons.
