About Me

WELCOME FRIENDS!
Our love of all of God's creatures has meant that there's never a dull moment or an idle hand. If you don't find us online, odds are good that we're bottle feeding an orphan kitten, puppy or even a possum! Or perhaps we're out playing fetch with the dogs, or convincing the chickens that we do get to muck the stalls! Then again, we may be trying to remind our store mascot bunny that she's not allowed to take all of the items off the store shelves or untie people's shoelaces when they come in for a visit.

Polocrosse keeps some of our horses busy; while the rest find showing and trail-riding more to their liking. We're doubly blessed to be able to combine our love for animals with a business to support them
"www.heartlandfs.com"

We take great pleasure in supporting and working with our local rescues. They are wonderful people who really care about animals as much as we do, and we hope you'll join us in supporting them. Always remember that you don't have to do a big thing to make a difference, you just have to do something.
All of us here at www.heartlandfs.com
would like to thank our friends, new and old, who joined us at the
Benefit Trail Ride for Healing Hands Sanctuary on Saturday, 5/17/08,
as well as those who offered their support and assistance to make this trail ride a success

Horses and riders all enjoyed the delightful spring day riding along with the beautiful trails through the Cumberland State Forest

It was a pleasure to share the day with everyone who was able to join us and help raise much needed funds for Healing Hands Sanctuary.

We'd like to extend our Heartfelt Thanks
to all of our friends, old and new,
who came to visit during our
OPEN HOUSE and TACK SWAP on
Saturday, November 17, 2007.
A fun time was had by all.
Special Thanks to those who set up tables, presented information, and helped make it a day to remember, and to White Bird Appaloosa Rescue
for bringing some adorable equine friends
If you're looking to adopt a new equine friend, below is a sample of some very deserving horses who are fortunate to be under White Bird's care while they await a new home. Click on their pictures for more information on each horse.

White Bird also appreciates volunteers of all kinds as well as donations to help them care for the horses they rescue.

URGENT HELP NEEDED: FIRE DESTROYS HEALING HANDS HORSE SANCTUARY'S BARN!

Thankfully all of the 25+ horses were rescued with minor injuries before the fire destroyed Healing Hands Sanctuary's barn last night but they lost everything else...all of their feed, buckets, lead ropes, blankets, etc.
Heartland Feed & Supply trying to assist Healing Hands Sanctuary by being a drop off and contact point while they struggle through this very difficult time. Any items purchased from Heartland Feed & Supply for Healing Hands will be delivered directly to them.
Heartland Feed & Supply is personally donating bags of horse feed (1 ton) and some basic supplies, White Bird Rescue has donated feed and some buckets, and some of our friends have already donated kitty food, Dengies and a few other things, all of which we are delivering to their farm right now to help them through the next few days.
Healing Hands Sanctuary is in dire need of the following supplies and donations to recover from this fire and take care of the horses that are currently at their rescue. Since the barn is gone, the horses will have to be out in all weather, and they have to be tied up to be feed.
Healing Hands Sanctuary is a 501 c and can accept donations directly to them through Bank of America, or by check.
Please contact Jen at [email protected] or "www.heartlandfs.com" with any offers of assistance.
