DC Exclusive Artist Shadowpact 16, August 15th

About Me

comicbook illustrator/artist working mainly for DC Comics at the moment on books such as Superman and JLA. Have worked for Marvel on various Xmen related books as well as Nightside and a little Venom. I've also worked on various licensed books and adaptions over the years such as Star Trek, VIP, Smallville, Catwoman and even had the thrill of doing the artwork that appeared on the Superman Returns Burger King toys. I have a Frisbee!!!! YAY!! Currently working on Shadowpact with Bill Willingham as well as some 52 and World War III.
Started my career in 1990 working for Cry for Dawn productions and Malibu Graphics, so roughly 17 years of drawing comics, even if some of those years were lean. My first published works were Subtle Violents(CFD) and the Protectors(Malibu) and although I wish I had been a better artist at the time I am still proud of those projects. My influences include:
Neal Adams, Alan Davis, John Buscema, Adam Hughes, Jim Lee, Arthur Adams, Mark Silvestri, Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo, Al Williamson, etc., etc.
David Xiberras of Adelaide, Austrailia sent me this pic of his tat. Next to it is the Catwoman piece I did that it was created from. I'm very honored to have a piece of mine as David's first tatoo.
Just thought this was cool. Someone made a set of Shadowpact action figures.

My Interests

Movies, television, reading, Comics(obviously), roadtrips, working out, etc. etc.

I'd like to meet:

Ernie and Bert but if not them anyone with a pulse really and if you're less boring than I am you're aces in my book.On that note, I've been on a little spree the last week or two adding people. If you're one of those people it's because I went on your page and saw or read something I thought was cool about you. None of the adds were just for the heck of it and I encourage everyone to go through my friends and check out their pages as there are a lot of interesting people in the grouping. Never hurts to mingle and get to know people. And thank you everyone for the approvals, I'm very happy to have everyone in my network. ---------------------------------------------------------- Here's a puzzle of a color pinup of mine, give it a shot if you're in the mood

Music:

Broad tastes, but mostly rock and pop

Movies:

Again, broad tastes, but you throw a good action flick or a comedy in front of me and I'll probably watch it. I don't really have a favorite only because it changes from month to month but Fight Club, the Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption are up there. Batman Begins and the original Matrix are awesome in a more kick @$$ kind of way and I love Blazing Saddles.

Television:

Just started watching 24, I love Lost and Battlestar Gallactica and I recommend the new Dr. Who series to everyone, sci fi lovers or not it's just fun, and I'm a big nut for Conan O'Brien and the Daily Show. My guilty pleasure is Who's Line Is It Anyway. I also get a kick out of atmospheric phenomenon on the weather and Discover channels. ----------------------------------------------------------
