Bringing Back The Realness

About Me

Beyond the flashy facade of mainstream rap and the flood of watered down industry clones, you will find a champion crew. True to their roots and passionately dedicated to their culture, Circa360 is bringing Hip hop back with a vengeance. With a sound reminiscent of the golden years of Hip hop, the boombap era, they undoubtedly remind us what Hip hop should be. Together, Meta, Physics, Doc Vile, & Self Guided combine to form an unstoppable force of titanic proportions. This team of lyricists and producers covers a sonic territory unparalleled by many. With sounds spanniing the spectrum from old school Hip hop to Reggae/Dancehall to Drum 'n' Bass to Soul & RnB, its no mystery why they are called "Circa360" (full circle). These artists individual careers span the greater part of the past decade, all with deep roots in underground / Hip hop culture. Although generating quality music is job one, Circa360 also makes it a point to put relevant substance in all that they do. Wether it be through the concious thought put into the lyrics or stepping outside the music and working to improve the quality of life in our society for future generations. Aside from the normal shows and concerts, the group also focuses on working with community organizations and other institutions to reach young and old alike through the universal languages of music and Hip hop culture. Circa360 has taken part in university lectures & conferences, cultural & political summits, and worked with various schools and youth organizations. All in all, Circa360 is not your run of the mill "rap" group. They are a concious artists' collective, an entity transcending Hip hop and music in general, and a positive force to be embraced and respected.Over the past few years Circa360 and its members have traveled extensively taking their music to all that will lend an ear. From big cities to remote reservation, they have rocked everything from school gymnasiums & concert halls to world calss arena's such as the University of New Mexico's arena "The Pit" in Albuquerque and Invesco Field, "Mile High Stadium", in Denver, CO. As well as participated in conferences and festivals at the University of Denver, the University of Illinois, Haskell Indian Nations University and the Institute of American Indian Arts to name a few. They've also been blessed to work and share stages with the likes of DJ Abel, Shatta I, Julian B, Martha Redbone, happy Frejo, Culture Shock Camp, Cary Morin of The Atoll, Sam & the Stylees, A Day to Remember,Edinbergh and many others as well.
