META defines the positive movement of what is consciousness through music and creative artistry. Raised in the southern plains, META is a musician and artist, who walks in a sobering duality through his passion for life and music.
“Growing up Native in America is an immense struggle in itself, even now more than ever. I use my experiences and the lessons I’ve been taught to create music and art that not only give insight to the harsh reality of Native American plight and the struggles of youth today, but provide inspiration to rise above and transcend these social circumstances.â€
MOVEMENT
As a young child META was a very quietly withdrawn individual. Through Hiphop music he embraced his observations, joys, and personal struggles. In becoming a musician, he began to see the immense impact Hiphop culture made upon the global community and realized he possessed an incredibly powerful tool for change. Today Hiphop has become a universal language, transcending race, gender, age, and social barriers. META recognizes this impact and its viable and powerful medium reaching today’s' youth. Over the past 8 years, META has become an advocate for change using these foundations for movements.
Over the years he has released 2 solo EP's and has a full length album release set for late March, 2008. META connects his innate inspiration through his two beautiful daughters and his phenomenal soul half. Today, META uses his ability to connect with audiences across all cultures and lifeways to give recognition to positive progression through his passion as a musician, artist, and a loving father.
