About Me

First off, you can currently catch some of my instrumentals/beats being played on Off The Top Radio, broadcast on WGBB AM 1240 out of Long Island, NY, as background ambience during music breaks. Check the webcast at Off The Top Radio . Show Curry Kid some support, too. He works hard to put the show on every Saturday Night from midnight til 6 am EST.Secondly, DO NOT REQUEST ME AS A FRIEND THEN ASK IF I NEED BEATS!!!! Money, I make beats... I don't need your beats. Further, it's highly offensive when the beats people offer me are absolute trash. If you do wish to be a dumbass, atleast take the time to try and make some decent beats, yo. At the moment, I'm alright if you post a tasteful banner in the comments trying to sell your beats... IF I'VE ADDED YOU. That in now way means it's okay to try and sell me your beats, though. Nor does it mean I support you, either. Trying to sell me beats is like trying to sell an air conditioner to an eskimo... it ain't happening, money!!! Now, back to your regularly schedule program...Let's go back to 1973. A child was born into turbulent times for Native Americans. AIM (American Indian Movement) was engaged in open warfare with the US Gov't, on the Pine Ridge Reservation. The FBI and CIA had all families related to AIM members under surveillance. Still, we Natives pow-wowed(community celebrations) like we have for thousands of years. Unbeknownst to us Natives, around the same time in the Boogie Down Bronx, another community celebration was taking place. Hip Hop. An exact parallel to Native American Pow Wows. Competition dancing in a huge circle, Musician battles, singer/MC battles...That child born to political opposition and ancestral jubilation was TR-One. Several Years later, this child would find Hip Hop and accept it as a natural extension of his traditional heritage. I've spent years teaching myself everything. Bombing, tagging, mixing, scratching, B-Boying, MC'ing. Ups and downs of having beats stolen by people whose samplers I was forced to make beats on since I couldn't afford my own, to making do with just a simple 4-track audio editor on a computer, have all shaped myself and my music. I'm interested in networking with any MCs or singers. Just send me a message. Constructive comments on my uploaded instrumentals/remixes are welcome. Apegesh Ki'je Manitou jawenimig. Gloves... they're your friend... use them...

Call me a hater, if it makes you feel better.  Tell me I'm "hatin on", if it really makes you feel cool.  Let's face it, Hip Hop has made people foolishly assume certain corny mannerisms and...

Question for those who regularly use pro audio equipment

I'd like to get a lil discussion going about pro studio gear.  If you only work with a 001/002 setup running an MPC/Triton/Motif/Fantom into Pro Tools LE, this is not a discussion for you.  ...
